Your email, handled with good intentions.
This page explains what happens when you leave your email address on aubergin.nl. In short: we only use it to tell you about Aubergin, we don't share it, and you can leave at any time.
What we store
- Your email address.
- When you signed up and when you confirmed, plus the consent text you agreed to.
- A one-way, encrypted fingerprint of your IP address, so we can stop abuse. We can't turn it back into your IP address.
Why
To email you when Aubergin is available and, occasionally, with news about Aubergin. We only do this with your consent, which you give by ticking the box and confirming via the link in our email (double opt-in). You must be 18 or older to sign up.
Where and for how long
Your data is stored on our own server in the Netherlands. It is not sold or shared with third parties. Sign-ups that are never confirmed are deleted automatically after 30 days. Confirmed sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. You can also ask us to see, correct or delete your data by emailing hello@aubergin.nl. If you're not happy with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Cookies
This site doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies. It only remembers in your own browser that you confirmed you're of legal drinking age, so we don't ask again.
